Odisha Govt To Procure 70 More Ambulances For Health Services

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has supported the proposition for acquirement of additional 70 ambulances outside the current ‘108’ armada. Out of these, 30 would be ALS and 40 would be BLS ambulances.


In a letter to Directors of every single clinical School and clinics and Boss Region Clinical Officials (CDMOs) and General Wellbeing Officials, Secretary of Wellbeing and Family Government assistance Division Shalini Pandit guided them to draw in rescue vehicle care collaborators, drivers and EMTs toward the finish of November 2023.


Assets for fuel and installment to rescue vehicle staff were additionally provisioned under the concerned head of record. Pandit coordinated to keep the group individuals in all status with fitting direction for running the ambulances as and when they would be put with Directors of clinical schools and locale specialists.


Every rescue vehicle would have three care staff including the driver. They would work in three movements.


These extra ambulances would be utilized for help to BSKY patients alluded to pvt emergency clinics, to perform prison obligations and exceptional occasion obligations.
