Bengaluru: Opposing the Janata Dal (S) supremo H D Deve Gowda’s choice of his party’s partnership with the BJP for the Lok Sabha races, the party’s Karnataka unit president C M Ibrahim on Monday said the JD(S) won’t enlist in the BJP-drove Public Vote based Union.

Calling his group as the ‘first JD(S)’, Mr Ibrahim, who had filled in as Common Flight Clergyman in the H D Deve Gowda-drove government at the Middle, said his group is ‘mainstream’.

He guaranteed that numerous MLAs are in contact with him yet declined to give their names.
