Nagaon: Collectively of BJP laborers recited “Jai Shri Slam” and raised “Modi, Modi” trademarks before Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra transport in Assam’s Nagaon, the Congress chief waved, gave flying kisses and ventured down to meet them.

Later tending to a public gathering in Assam, the Congress MP portrayed the episode and said the Congress is neither terrified of Top state leader Narendra Modi nor Assam Boss Clergyman Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The Congress has guaranteed that its chiefs, including Gandhi and Jairam Ramesh, were focused on by BJP allies during the Assam leg of the Manipur-to-Maharashtra Nyay Yatra.

At the public gathering, Mr Gandhi said, “A few 2-3 kms previously, around 20-25 BJP laborers conveying sticks came before our transport, and when I emerged from the transport, they ran away…they believe that the Congress is frightened of BJP and RSS laborers.”
“How the situation is playing out. They can tear however many banners and bulletins as they need, we couldn’t care less, and are not irritated. We are not frightened of anyone, we are neither terrified of Narendra Modi nor the central pastor here,” he said.
During his previous Kanyakumari-to-Kashmir Bharat Jodo Yatra, Mr Gandhi had made comparative motions to a group which recited “Modi, Modi” trademarks when the walk was in Rajasthan.
The Congress has affirmed that the “assaults” on its yatra have the support of Boss Clergyman Sarma.
