Vice Chancellor Of University In Prayagraj Arrested On Attempt To Murder Charge

The Bad habit Chancellor of the Sam Higginbottom College of Horticulture, Innovation and Sciences, Rajendra Bihari Lal, was captured on the protest of previous BJP pioneer Diwakar Nath Tripathi.

 

Prayagraj: The Bad habit Chancellor of a rural college here was captured and shipped off prison for a situation of endeavor to kill after two individuals supposedly started shooting at the vehicle of a previous BJP pioneer, a police official said on Monday.

Rajendra Bihari Lal, the VC of Sam Higginbottom College of Horticulture, Innovation and Sciences (SHUATS), was captured on Sunday night on the protest of previous BJP pioneer Diwakar Nath Tripathi and remanded in legal guardianship.

 

Tripathi had claimed that right off the bat Sunday, two men who had went with Lal in a SUV had started shooting at him subsequent to attempting to surpass and stop his vehicle when he was getting back from his morning stroll close to Arail dam, SHO of Naini police headquarters Yashpal Singh said on Monday.

 

In view of the protest of Tripathi, a body of evidence was recorded against Lal in Naini police headquarters under IPC segments 307 (endeavor to kill), 504 (deliberate affront to incite break of the harmony) and 427 (wickedness making harm how much fifty rupees).

 

As per the police, 26 arguments are enlisted against Lal in Prayagraj, Lucknow, Hamirpur, Fatehpur and Pratapgarh locale over supposed unlawful strict change and different charges.

 

The complainant guaranteed that Lal and others have resentment against him as he has documented a few bodies of evidence against them.

 

Early last month, the Allahabad High Court had would not subdue a FIR enrolled against the VC and different authorities of SHUATS, which is a minority organization. For this situation, they were blamed for changing over a lady by drawing her with a task and different offices.
