West Singhbhum, Jharkhand: A CRPF jawan was killed and two others were harmed on Friday when the banished CPI (Maoist) set off an IED blast in a timberland in West Singhbhum region, police said.
The episode occurred around 2.30 pm, collectively of safety staff were directing an enemy of Maoist activity in Goilkera region, Administrator of Police Ashutosh Shekhar told news organization PTI.
The harmed jawans were transported to a clinic in Ranchi, he said.
One of them surrendered to his wounds over treatment, Mr Shekhar said.
