Mobile App Fraud: Probe Agency Attaches Fresh Assets Worth Over ₹ 278 Crore

New Delhi: The Implementation Directorate (ED) on Wednesday said it has connected resources worth more than ₹ 278 crore of different elements, incorporating those with connections to China, in a tax evasion test over the supposed cheating of financial backers through cell phone-based application “HPZ Token”.

The ED had before appended properties worth ₹ 176.67 crore for the situation.

 

A request under the Counteraction of Tax evasion Act (PMLA) has been given to connect “continues of wrongdoing as versatile and steady properties esteemed at ₹ 278.71 crore having a place with different people and shell (faker) elements, including Chinese-connected shell substances, which were supposedly observed to be associated with tricking financial backers of many crores”, the focal organization said in a proclamation temporarily.
