The tempest over the Bedouin Ocean is probably going to cross between Al Ghaidah (Yemen) and Salalah (Oman) in the early long periods of October 25.
Twister ‘Tej’, fermenting over the Bedouin Ocean, is supposed to change into an Extremely Serious Cyclonic Tempest (VSCS) before early afternoon on Sunday, the India Meteorological Office (IMD) said.
“VSCS (exceptionally extreme cyclonic tempest) Tej lay focused at 2330 IST of 21st Oct over SW Bedouin Ocean around 330 km ESE of Socotra (Yemen), 690 km SSE of Salalah (Oman), and 720 km SE of Al Ghaidah (Yemen). Prone to heighten further into a Very Serious Cyclonic Tempest in the forenoon of 22nd Oct,” the IMD posted from its idea about X.

The IMD further said that it was probably going to additionally heighten into a profound gloom throughout the following 24 hours.
“The WML over Inlet of Bengal packed into a Downturn and lay focused at 2330 IST of 21st Oct over west-focal Narrows of Bengal, around 620 km south of Paradip (Odisha), 780 km south of Digha (West Bengal), and 900 km SSW of Khepupara (Bangladesh),” the IMD posted on X.
Prior, the climate office said a low-pressure region over the southeast and the bordering southwest Middle Eastern Ocean has formed into a downturn and is probably going to heighten into a serious cyclonic tempest by Sunday.
It would keep moving north-westwards towards South Oman and connecting Yemen coasts, it added.
