US space organization NASA has delivered a picture of Chandrayaan-3 lander ‘Vikram’ on the lunar surface, which was caught by its Lunar Surveillance Orbiter shuttle.

The Chandrayaan-3 lander is in the focal point of the picture, and its dim shadow is noticeable against the splendid radiance encompassing the Vikram.

“@NASA’s LRO rocket as of late imaged the Chandrayaan-3 lander on the Moon’s surface. The ISRO (Indian Space Exploration Association) Chandrayaan-3 landed on Aug 23, 2023, around 600 kilometers from the Moon’s South Pole,” NASA said via virtual entertainment stage ‘X’.

NASA said its Lunar Surveillance Orbiter Camera (LROC) obtained a diagonal view (42-degree slew point) of the lander four days after the fact. The brilliant radiance around the vehicle came about because of the rocket crest cooperating with the fine-grained regolith (soil).
