CBI Raids Over 50 Locations In Bengal, Sikkim, Over Massive Passport Scam

New Delhi: The CBI is directing quests at 50 areas in West Bengal and Sikkim’s Gangtok having charged 24 people including government authorities and confidential people for purportedly giving visas based on produced records, authorities said.

The CBI has confined an authority posted in Gangtok and furthermore a broker, they said.

 

The FIR names 24 people including 16 authorities who were purportedly giving visas based on manufactured archives to ineligible people, including non-occupants, as a trade-off for pay-offs, they said.

 

The pursuits are spread across Kolkata, Siliguri, Gangtok, and different areas, they said.
