Aaditya Thackeray’s Friend Questioned In Remdesivir Supply Scam

The Financial Offenses Wing (EOW) of Mumbai Police has enrolled an offense regarding the acquisition of remdesivir infusions at supposed expanded rates by the Brihanmumbai Civil Enterprise (BMC).

 

Mumbai: The Monetary Offenses Wing (EOW) of Mumbai Police on Wednesday addressed Shiv Sena (UBT) pioneer Aaditya Thackeray’s companion Punyashali Parekh regarding a supposed trick in the stock of remdesivir infusions during the Coronavirus pandemic to the BMC.

Parekh showed up before EOW authorities in the early evening, and was permitted to leave around 6.30 pm, after five hours, after his proclamation was recorded, said an authority.

 

The organization has enlisted an offense regarding the acquisition of remdesivir infusions at supposed swelled rates by the Brihanmumbai Civil Company (BMC).

 

According to the Primary Data Report, remdesivir vials which were accessible for ₹ 650 were bought for ₹ 1568 each. The BMC secured exactly 65,000 vials going on like this, adding up to a trick of ₹ 5.96 crore, the authority said.

 

The EOW had before addressed Suraj Chavan, an associate of Aaditya Thackeray, regarding a supposed trick in the stockpile of khichdi to abandoned transients during the pandemic.
