“Unfortunate”: Maharashtra Minister On Highway Accident That Killed 12

The Samruddhi Mahamarg, named Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, is a 701-km-long turnpike interfacing Mumbai and Nagpur.

It crosses 10 regions including Nagpur, Washim, Wardha, Ahmednagar, Buldhana, Aurangabad, Amravati, Jalna, Nashik and Thane.

President Droupadi Murmu and State leader Narendra Modi communicated melancholy over the deficiency of lives in the mishap.

The Top state leader’s Office (PMO) in a post on X said a pay of ₹ 2 lakh from the Top state leader’s Public Help Asset (PMNRF) would be given to the groups of the people who passed on and the harmed people would be given ₹ 50,000.

The PMO in a post on X expressed, “Tormented by the deficiency of lives because of a mishap in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar locale. My contemplations are with the people who lost their cherished ones.I wish the harmed a fast recuperation. An ex-gratia of Rs.2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the closest relative of each departed. The harmed would be given Rs.50,000.”
