The police on Tuesday said that a 52-year-elderly person has been captured for supposedly hijacking, assaulting and killing the minor.
New Delhi: Delhi Commission for Ladies (DCW) has taken suo moto cognisance on account of capturing and claimed assault and murder of a nine-year-old young lady who had been absent since December 12 from Swaroop Nagar.
In a letter dated December 19, Delhi Commission for Ladies Executive Swati Maliwal said, “The Delhi Commission for Ladies has taken suo-moto discernment of media reports expressing that a 9-year-old young lady was absent since December 12 from Swaroop Nagar. It has been accounted for that the family’s landowner supposedly kidnapped, assaulted and killed the minor young lady. It has been expressed that the blamed later unloaded her body in the Munak trench. This is an intense matter.”
DCW Executive further requested a duplicate of FIR enrolled with regards to this issue.
“Subtleties of the charged captured with regards to this issue. Assuming no charged has been captured, kindly give motivations to the equivalent. Whether the body of the young lady has been recuperated. If no, if it’s not too much trouble, give motivations to the equivalent. Definite Activity Taken Report regarding this situation,” the executive requested in the letter.
She further added thinking about the gravity of the matter, if it’s not too much trouble, give the looked for data to the Commission by December 22, 2023.

A group of jumpers from Khajuri is being gotten and the quest for the young lady’s body is on, DCP said.

Police have enrolled a case under important segments of the Indian Reformatory Code (IPC) and the POCSO Act against him.
