New Delhi: Jawan came, saw and totally vanquished the movies. Shah Rukh Khan’s film made history and broke every one of the past records to turn into Bollywood’s greatest opener. The Atlee coordinated film gathered a record-breaking ₹ 65.50 crore at the Indian film industry on the primary day of the delivery, according to Bollywood exchange investigator Taran Adarsh. The film’s first day of the season assortment was 19.09% higher than Shah Rukh Khan’s raving success Pathaan. Taran Adarsh wrote in his X (prior called Twitter) post, “Jawan is sensational…Creates history…Jawan raises a ruckus around town out of the arena, Breaks generally past records… Greatest opener [Hindi films] in India. Day 1 biz…Jawan: ₹ 65.50 cr [19.09% HIGHER than #Pathaan]”
It grossed a whopping ₹129.6 crore worldwide on its opening day. Interestingly, this is the biggest opening any Hindi film has had until now.
FYI, Jawan’s first day of the season assortment takes it past Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 hit Pathaan, which had an opening of ₹ 55 crore, the Hindi adaptation of KGF (with ₹ 53.95 crore), War, which gathered 51.60 crore on its first day of the season and Aamir Khan’s Hooligans Of Hindostan, which acquired ₹ 50.75 crore on day 1.
