New Delhi: The main test for the Gaganyaan human space flight mission was canceled only seconds before the booked send off. The Indian Space Exploration Association has not made sense of why the send off was held.
“Motor start has not occurred in the ostensible course because of a peculiarity. We need to figure out what turned out badly. The vehicle is protected, and we will declare the explanation after an examination,” ISRO boss S Somanath said from the Mission Control Center.
Test Vehicle D1 mission was planned for a takeoff from the principal platform at 8 a.m. which was changed to 8.45 am. However, only 5 seconds before the send off, the commencement halted. ISRO is supposed to declare another date for the test soon.
“What has happened is that the ground support PC doing this capability has kept the send off considering the abnormality noticed. We will return subsequent to grasping the irregularity, right it, and timetable the send off very soon,” the space organization’s Executive said.
The test vehicle mission is the ancestor to the Gaganyaan program which means to send people into space on a Low Earth Circle of 400kms for three days and take them securely back to the Earth.
